IF ELECTED, OBAMA WILL BE MY PRESIDENT
Sad to say that the lowest common denominator drives the debate. IF the right is honorable and reasonable, while the left is NOT, then we have an inexorable march left.
God bless the implacable extremists of the right, who counter-balance the deranged extremists of the left. That's the only way to negotiate with what remains of the non-insane left: "So what? You have to deal with your far side, but we have to deal with ours. The only way to handle this is..." and so forth.
